Make the rebuild easy to retrace.
Magnetic Project Mat keeps fasteners and assembly steps organized while you isolate a storage or PCIe problem. Use it to preserve the physical setup behind a saved capture.
- Map screws and parts to their original locations, keeping electronics off the magnetic sorting surface unless their documentation permits it.
- Record which slot, adapter and drive were installed before changing the setup. Change one component at a time.
- For the PCIe device involved, keep the corresponding Header7F capture and notes with each configuration so a changed assembly has a traceable baseline.
This organizer is not an ESD mat and has no digital interface. Header7F does not inspect the mat or verify the assembly.
